STRATAGLYPH

Open Strataglyph

A software factory that starts by interviewing you. With most AI coding tools, what you asked for ends up buried in a chat log, and the code becomes the only record of what you meant. Strataglyph keeps the description. It asks your team questions about what you're building, writes the answers into a specification anyone can read, and builds the code from it. When you change your mind, you change the specification, and the factory brings the code back in line.

How it works

  1. 0010
    The AI asks the questions
An interview question with three suggested answers

Nobody has to know what to ask an AI. Strataglyph works through what's still undecided one question at a time, with suggested answers for when you'd rather pick than write. Every answer is kept with who gave it and when, so when someone later asks why the product works the way it does, the reason is in the specification with a name and a date on it.

  2. 0020
One document for the whole team
A map of a specification, every part connected to the parts it depends on

Engineers read and edit the source. Product managers, domain experts and stakeholders read the same specification in plain language, answer the questions meant for them, and review a change before it's applied.

  3. 0030
    Then the factory builds it
A run's tasks, each marked done, with its size and cost

When the specification is ready, send it to a factory and say Go. It works out what the code is missing, plans the work, and hands the tasks to AI builders running on your own computers with the coding agents you already use. Each task is checked, and the result comes back as one round to review: what changed and the evidence that the code does it. Your code stays in your own repository, and Strataglyph never stores it.

Built by the factory

Strataglyph is built with Strataglyph. Its own specification goes through its own factory, and every screenshot on this page is that specification at work.
